I love Super Mario Galaxy

I got this game for Christmas last year and had been playing it off and on. I wasn't really able to commit to it because I had been so busy. Recently, I picked it up again and I've gotta say, this really is one good game and such a vast improvement over 2002's Super Mario Sunshine.

It's hard to tell how far into Galaxy I am right now. I'm pretty sure I still have quite a ways to go before reaching the end of it. The game also isn't really all that difficult, though a lot of it is pretty challenging.

One gripe I do have is that the 1-UP mushrooms are pretty much handed to you constantly. As we speak, I've got 30+ lives and they're only going to go higher since you can find a 1-UP just about anywhere in the game.

It's been fun to play - especially in between my trek through the frustratingly difficult Mega Man 9, which can burn in hell for all I care.. but that's a topic for a whole new thread.

I've never played Galaxy, but if I were to get my hands on a Wii it'd be the first game I tried.

I played this game too...I was only able to get to one of the bosses, Galaxy Man, who clobbered me. If the old Mega Man games were this tough, I have no idea how I ever managed to beat the games when I was 8 years old.

Yeah, I'm at Wily's Citadel with no hope in sight. The furthest I've got is the third boss battle. When you reach it, you'll ask yourself, like I have, how in the god's name is someone supposed to beat this?!
