I like playing Star Trek PC Games

Hello one and all,

I love playing Star Trek PC Games. I love Starfleet Academy, Deep Space Nine The Fallen that's a bit difficult, Star Trek Elite Force 1 & 2.

For some reason I cannot play Star Trek Generations on my Windows XP - I have recently bought a Dell Vostro 1700 Laptop, Does anybody know why Generation's won't play ?

I like SFA, and really like EF1 and EF2 too...

The Generations game does not work in Windows XP, you have to get some third party program/emulator (?) to play it. I have the game and played in in WindowsME, and installed it on XP but removed it after realizing that you had to take extra steps to get it to work.

What about the intro to SFA, its like the beginning of a movie.......Love that game...

Generations just does not work on XP, you would need either windows 98/ME.....and quite frankly is not worth the trouble.

Have you tried the Armada series games or the trek adventure games 25th anniversary/ judgement rites..(The last two would need a program like VDMS or Dos box to run)...but they are worth it.

I had trouble with Star Trek Generations, too. I ended up returning the game after several tries, wasn't worth keeping.
