I just wrote a book

It's called Making Faces, and it's designed to help autistic children recognize non-verbal cues and facial expressions in order to increase their social skills. Take a look and let anyone who might benefit from it know. Thanks.

It looks like a good book. I knew a few autistic children when my son was in special ed, but none at the moment.

Congratulations! :)

Would this book be of interest to experienced educators of autistic children, or would you say it's more focused on parents? We run a music program for children on the autism spectrum where I work.

Congratulations on the accomplishment and great work on addressing such a worthy cause. :):techman:

My cousin's son is autistic and I will be sure to recommend this to him.

Thanks for the kind words, all. And BigJake, it works equally well with educators and parents. It requires face time with the kid, or you can even read it with a group and start discussions.

Thanks, I will pass the link along.

Thank you for this resource. I have a 15-year-old nephew with autism, and I'll be sure to forward this information to my sister.
