Whadda think?

You win the Double Dipper Award of the Year!!!:techman:
Anyway, seriously, you bought them altogether? How much did that cost you? Looks like an expensive buy.

I bought other items as well, but it was pretty expensive, and yes, I purchased them altogether. I would say maybe around a grand?

Wow. That's a lot of DVDs in one sitting. I don't think I've bought more than ten at any one time. Interesting list. :)

Did somebody just get their economic stimulus money?

I did a big pre-order yesterday ($123)...lots of superhero goodness.

Lots of those movies have been on sale between $5-10 each. The mash box set has been half off at Deep discount. I just could not see paying $1000 for them. Maybe $350-500.

You have a residence in Chicago and Florida? What do I think? That perhaps when you decide to go back to Florida you let me go with...you know to help you pack the rest of your collection, go to the beach, watch the flicks to make sure all is well, go to the beach, help a guy out of double dipping and oh yeah go to the beach!

Really though sounds like a good list.

Holy cow, Jackson. What do I think? How on earth did you manage to cart that all home from the store is what I'm thinking.

I ordered them all online. I wouldn't purchase that many DVD's or electronics at a store. Leaving would be just ridiculous. :D

You just spent a thousand dollars on DVDs?! Many of which you already own? :wtf:

What do you do for a living? ;)

Still, if you have that much money, JacksonArcher, why didn't you just buy Blu-ray?

A lot of those movies aren't available on Blu Ray yet. The Kubrick's are. Bourne are only currently on HD DVD. No Trek on either. Batman Begins isn't BD until July.

In fact, I only count 12 which are currently on a high def format or have been announced for Blu Ray.

Did you buy them used? If not, I'm surprised you didn't wait for the DVD Planet and Deep Discount 20% off sales coming up around the corner.
