    Mods, delete if not allowed.

I couldn't see a SF Book thread, so thought I'd do this.

This ebook has been 50 years in the making. Really. After spending so long as a student, blue collar worker, white collar worker, husband, dad and granddad, I have found a way to finish a short story collection. Having cancer allowed me time (I'm fine now). This is well overdue. I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out. Available in ebook and print formats from Amazon.

    The blurb:
A new collection of Science Fiction from [Australis]
    • Two gentlemen go to see a play by Shakespeare, in a very different England…
    • After the last human dies, what do the robots do next?...
    • As conditions in the world deteriorate, the Rich launch a fantastic conspiracy to survive…
    • If Stanley Kubrick hadn’t made ‘2001’, what would his ‘proverbial good SF film’ have been?...
    • A man comes to claim the throne of the greatest city on his world, but finds it much tougher than he thought…
    • Two men discuss the philosophy of war and rule in the ruins of a city after battle and loss…
    • In a time of street violence and gang warfare, a mother has to take her kids to school…
… and others. All new, all original, ranging from an alternate past to unimagined futures, across different universes.

Catching Light, a new SF anthology by [Australis]

There's a link in my sig, and it's available in your local Amazon store.

Hope you're interested, hope you like it.

I just bought it. I will try to get around to reading it next month. I can’t guarantee I will as my current TBR list almost reaches the ceiling.

Unfortunately a mod should be along any minute to tell you not to sell stuff on the forum.
    Best of luck!

I highly recommend this. I've been reading [Australis]'s stuff for years and he's not only really good, but quite offbeat. :D
