I hate women!!!

Most of the famous "best" villains in actions/scifi/fantasy movies/TV shows seem to be men. Darth Vader, the Joker, Luthor, ect ect ect...can you name at least three kick-ass female baddies who rank up there with the best bad dudes?

I mean, lets face it, some of us are married. And for some of us our arch-nemesis seems to be our wives!!! So what's going on??? How come no love for bad girls?? And no..the "Alien" bitch doesn't count.

Diana and Lydia from V immediately come to mind. (And Anna from the new V series, though I haven't seen it.) Catwoman is another strong villian. As far as whether any of them measure up to the best baddies out there, I suppose that's a matter of taste.

Off the top of my head...

1. O-Ren Ishii from Kill Bill
2. The Alien Queen from Alien/Aliens
3. Annie Wilkes from Misery

Other than the ones mentioned above, There was the Borg queen. Not a great baddie, but worth a mention.

With the exception of the Borg Queen, I can't really think of any I've ever been all that impressed by.

Usually we don't get out and out female "villains". There's usually some excuse made for their behaviour. They're good people who made bad decisions.

There's a few, but you pretty much have to look towards Joss for most of them.

- Callisto
- Xena (she did start off evil)
- Faith
- Glory
- Female Founder
- Lilah Morgan

True..and good to see you around Ward. I have always loved that Avatar of yours!!!

Servalan, from "Blake's 7."

Not only was she pure evil and a ruthless dictator, she was incredibly well-dressed while doing it. :techman:

As to your wives being your arch-nemesis, let me just say this:
The only reason the wives turn into Darth Vader is because they've discovered their husbands have turned into Jar-Jar Binks.

Another villainess I just recalled was Princess Ardala from Buck Rogers. I seem to remember that it was rather enjoyable to watch her in action.

Well, for General Hopsital fans, there is always Helena Cassadine! Yeah, I know, its a soap. But back in the glory days they had plots about evil dudes (her husband, played by Kor himself) trying to freeze the world!

The best villainess, imo, would be Mrs. Coulter from His Dark Materials, as seen in The Golden Compass w/ Nicole Kidman.

The women of HBO's Rome are every bit as vicious as the men, though there aren't really "good guys" or "bad guys" in that show.

Spalko from Crystal Skull was a decent villainness, though she didn't really do much.

Abiotic "female" antagonist: T-X from Terminator 3.

Mara Jade from the Thrawn trilogy is an awesome villainness, and is still interesting when she turns good.

Going outside of the sci-fi realm

Livia from I, Claudius(for that matter probably Agrippanilla, Julia, and Messalina)

Joan Crawford in Mommy Dearest

Mama Carlson in WKRP in Cincinnati:lol:

Yeah, but not because she was actually evil at all - just hot!

I still remember that scene of her and Gil Gerard dancing this weird dance and her asking if their bodies touch does that mean they have mated. I think that may have jump started my sexual development a tad early.

Should I be embarrassed that I remember wathing that plotline?:alienblush:

Was her first name Ann?
