I had a Trek dream too. I wasn't sure where to post this--GTD or Misc. seemed better places, but since this thread is here, I'll give it some fodder for the next 10 posts.
In my dream, I was with my family, driving my Civic northbound on I-15. We'd just cleared the Cajon pass when things turned technobabble. The car started pulling off to the shoulder, and I yelled to my wife that we had to eject the warp core (Don't ask me where the warp core is on a Civic--just go with it).
She yelled back that the manual ejection system was offline--I even heard that TNG/VOY bad news beeping sound that you hear when something isn't working. So I told her to reinitialize the EPS grid.
That seemed to do the trick, and we pulled back into a travel lane.
Then the dream shifted and we were checked into a suite at the El Cortez. I was discussing whether we should upgrade to a Cabana Suite or not when I woke up.
I just thought I'd share that, even though it has nothing to do with the next movie...unless it's a buddy road-trip-to-Vegas movie instead of a space action-adventure thingie.
