I finally found something more useful than Neelix

If i have to go though the trouble of cutting mixing chopping and loading the damn thing then why bother. Why not save $1500 and make it all yourself. I sure as shit know it's doesn't take me 6 Hours to make dinner like she thinks it does.

Maybe in ten years when food printing is more perfected, easily produced, and at an Average Joe price, it'll get my attention.

Edit: Wow, my grandfather said that about computers, and he loves his tablet.

^ Likewise, but I'll be using mine to make a printable Angelina Jolie.

Edit: Or to keep it within topic, a printable Jeri Ryan.

^That's debatable.

To be fair, that was Tuvok's holodeck simulation of Neelix, with the Annoyance level cranked up to 11.

C'mon now folks!!! Neelix, besides being future ambassadorial material, was a complex, multi-faceted character with many capabilities. The fact that they were shielded or made less apparent by virtue of his demeanor (which in itself was reflective of the richness of his backstory), doesn't mean that it is too terribly difficult to make the effort to discern them.

IMO, it's far too easy to fall into the cheap and tiresome cynicism of critics like say, SF Debris, who are quite knowledgable, but can't seem to resist taking the facile path in discussing this character. Although active here for just a short time, I think my hope that the thoughtfulness of the vast majority of members on this forum far exceeds what one experiences in a number of other venues, is a reasonable one and won't be dashed!!!!

We will crush this out of you.

Also, even Q did it so I think that means it is okay.

I rather be friends with Neelix, someone that would remain your friend almost unconditionally than be friends with someone like Tuvok who would sell you out if he felt it was logical.

Drone, you have my support.:bolian:

Things I'd rather do with Neelix than Tuvok:

Pub crawl.
Disney Land (is that one word?)
Any kind of pleasure planet.

Things I'd rather do with Tuvok than Neelix:

Museum trip. I could not stand Neelix's nattering and effusiveness, and would enjoy Tuvok's tour guide like factlets.
Botanical Gardens (though I'd rather have Sulu)
The Zoo.

In the desert island scenario I'm afraid I have to go with Neelix. I'd be too lonely with Tuvok.

I kinda picture Tuvok talking down to whomever he was with on a museum trip. I'd rather go to a Yankees game with Neelix.

Yeah, and torture, even...
