No I have not, I only watch Star Trek and Doctor who. I have some friends though who I have recently started to go to the cinema with weekly. I will make sure that we go to see this film. The last one I saw was an animated super hero film about Superman’s dog, I forget what it was called. :bolian:

Given this was the early 60s (pre "Fantastic Four" I think), I'm surprised the artists were not forced to slap a pair of shorts upon Groot as they did Fin Fang Foom...a cosmic dragon. Yes, the Comics Code Authority insisted a storybook styled dragon wear swim trunks in its earliest appearances! Oy...
 
Season 2 has dropped. If you enjoyed the first batch of mini-episodes you should enjoy this round as well. Lots of cheeky charm as well as some excellent CG animation and design.
 
Oh, yes, I forgot those were coming out today!

Much like the first season, I enjoyed watching our little, sadistic, vindictive bastard stomp across the cosmos. "Groot's Snow Day" (of course he would accidentally create a murderous snowman robot...Calvin would be proud) and "Groot's Sweet Treat" (of course he would blow up the galactic ice cream truck to get his treat) were going to be my favorites...until "Groot and the Great Prophecy." Oh, sweet joy that was! Jeffrey Wright was clearly having way too much fun in that short. :D

Does anyone know what comic he reads in "Groot Noses Around"? It looked awfully familiar.
