Also this reminds me of one time I got seriously pissed off at a guy I was dating...he picked me up one night when I was drunk and we went back to his place, and I woke up the next morning and noticed a gun on his nightstand, right next to where I had been sleeping. I kind of poked it and went, "Is this real?"
"Yeah."
"Is it loaded?"
"Yeah."
"Uh, and you didn't think it might have been a good idea to put it out of reach of the drunk girl that was going to come over and sleep in this spot?"
He didn't have an answer. I can't even describe how angry I was at this.
Angry at him?
You were the drunk one - placing yourself in a position so irresponsibly (both position as in "state of mind" as well as in "next to a loaded gun") is ultimately your fault. He could've been a little less negligent, sure - but you were just downright irresponsible.
Why should it be his responsibility to clean up after your mess? Sounds like the fault was yours, not his.
The hell? She wasn't the one with the damned gun. It was his gun, therefore his responsibility to take care of, and his gun to keep well the fuck AWAY from innocent people.

Being drunk is no excuse to have loaded guns pointed at someone. And make no mistake, that gun was pointed at her, in a very real sense. This guy leaves a loaded gun, in the room, where it could accidentally go off? How is that NOT dangerous and irresponsible for that asshole to do?
