TJ Thyne is best known for his role as the sometimes-abrasive, always eccentric and yet oh-so-loveable Dr Hodgins on Bones.

He was born in the Hub of the Universe, Boston, Massachusetts, but moved to Texas for a while before heading to the City of Angels and the University of Southern California's Theater Program. He graduated in 1997. He had already begun working in film by then, including work as an extra in Forest Gump.

Television was good to him from the get go. He quickly landed many guest starring roles and recurring roles on shows such as Boston Legal, Nip/Tuck, CSI, 24, Friends and Angel, among many others. He has also been featured in a number of films, including Erin Brockovitch, the live-action How The Grinch Stole Christmas and What Women Want.

But his niche at this point in time is that King Of The Lab, Jack Hodgins, conspiracy theorist, bug-and-muck enthusiast and mad scientist extraordinaire.

Is he a Hunk? Well, his character scored with Michaela Conlin, so he gets my Vote. :D

Also check out those dreamy blue eyes. :adore:

I find smart sexy and he appeals to me. I don't think he's a hunk as such, but I do find him attractive so I gave him a thumbs up - for Dr Hodgkins at least.

I like him better with short hair, but yeah, he's pretty cool. I sure like him better than David Boreanaz. So, I'll give him a thumbs up.

He doesn't do much for me but he's no ugly or anything so I gave him a sideways. The fact that he's on Bones, though, almost made me give him a thumbs down.

It is your imagination. He was week # 111. We are on week #129.

eta: You can find it here. It was in June, and you posted in the thread. Short term memory loss?

Good thing, since his stock has taken a tumble. Come on, folks, doesn't anybody like cute curly-haired guys with stunning blue eyes? The fact that he looks a lot like me doesn't color my opinion at all....

By the way, folks, I need a volunteer for the thread this calendar week. I have a guest coming this weekend, and I have to work all week. SO---any takers?
