I don't know if I'm going to even watch this show, short-lived as it'll probably be, but thought I'd make this thread to remind you that it's starting up. If it's a hit on this board, does someone want to take over thread duties?

I thought the pilot was okay (aired here on Friday). Always great to see Chi McBride, nice to see "Six" again and Mark Vallee is always solid. I'll probably tune in to the next episode.

Anyone here besides me remember the Rick Springfield version? Since it was more faithful to the comic, he was barely in it!

I missed most of the second half but I loved what I saw. Nice to see all the BSG alums popping up on Fox. Tricia Helfer, Donnelly Rhodes, and Katee Sackhoff on 24. Didn't know Jack Early Combs was on this show...God, he looks freaky.

Watched the pilot out of boredom and was actually entertained by it. Action fluff, and was pretty fun, all things considered.

Saw it. I liked the speed train plot. While not exactly scifi, the plot gave it that vibe and made what should be a mundane show seem more interesting. Nice to see Helfer too. I thought she was going to be a regular. My biggest surprise though was seeing Jackie Earle Haley. Why is he playing a supporting role on a FOX show? I thought his movie career was on the uptick. Times must be really tough. Anyhoo... I agree that this'll get cancelled.

If you're a fan of Fringe, this show getting canceled probably means alternate universe John Scott will make his debut... especially since Mark Valley is married to Anna Torv.

I enjoyed Human Target and plan to watch it every week. I think Fox has another winner here; the timeslot after American Idol on Wednesdays will be a huge boost to the program. And thumbs up to Fox for finally giving Mark Valley the lead in a series.

In the clips from upcoming episodes, did we see the woman from Terminator Salvation?

^ Yes, that would be Moon Bloodgood.

I wonder if we'll get the Danny Glover episode or if that wast just a really expensive cameo.

It was a good pilot. It sort of reminded me of an 80s action show, which is a good thing. Valley definitely has the dashing, quippy stuff down. It was good to see Tricia Helfer. It's always good to see her. The action scenes were pretty good, though I didn't care for the big train derailment in the tunnel. I also thought the villains could've been better. One thing the pilot, and perhaps the show is missing is ongoing sexual tension. I think they need a female bodyguard, someone Valley can flirt with. Looking forward to checking out more shows.

Wow Haley is short. Seems like he has a very Clint Howard role here. Thought this was just an ok show. I will watch it next to see what happens but two shows in a row in a tin can(train, plane) probably not good planning there.

I read something to the effect that they wanted to have every episode end with a big cameo but found that to be impractical.

"Jack Early Combs"?

Was that a reference I didn't get?

Jackie Earl Haley.

First out in "The Bad News Bears," right? With Tatum O'Neal and Walter Mathau (that man is/was funny!).

10.1 million viewers, 2.9 rating for adults ages 18-49. I don't know what the numbers signify for ratings.
