How would you react if your team was caught cheating the system ...

... and would be playing for no points for the rest of the season? (plus losing any championships they may have won)

This is all due to the Melbourne Storm cheating salary cap here in Australia. This is the biggest fraud case with regards to Australian sport, and the Storm have had two titles removed (and been fined)?

If it was my Eels ... there would be a lot of pain and anger directed towards the management of the club. I've put in around 30 years of support into the club. But it's for the players. It's hard for me to think of ... I'm hoping it never happens. I do feel sorry for the Storm fans.

So how would you react if it was your team that was caught breaking what ever system you have?

Given I'm a Raiders supporter I'd be pissed because it would mean my team can't even cheat right!

The only other team I follow is the Brumbies and Super Rugby doesn't have a salary cap and they only thing I think they could do to have a championship stripped is if after they won the entire team failed a drug test.

If I was a Storm fan I'd be very pissed off at the admin of the club and that it meant that my team has lost two titles. I'd also focus on every single bad aspect of a salary cap and ignore any positives it has for the game so I'd direct some anger at the NRL. Also I'd be very suspicious of the coach and big name players and not completely believe they knew nothing simply because clubs break salary caps for the likes of an Inglis and not for your Joe Blogs. So I'd have suspicions that they might have known about it.

Well, I'm a fan of the Maple Leafs and the Blue Jays, so I'd be wondering why the hell they can't win even if they cheat.

I'd be pretty damned pissed to think that after cheating the Chiefs could still only manage to win 4 games. What a waste!
