Of course, the lead role must garner some serious payroll (like Patrick Stewart for Picard, Ben Avery for Sisko, and Kate Mulgrew for Janeway). But I wonder about the other regular members of the cast... does anyone have an idea of how much they got paid per episode, and if it increased much during the run of the series? Were raises geared based on popularity and perhaps seniority?
And what about residuals? Do they continue to make money on syndication revenue, or was it strictly on a per-episode basis?
I became curious about this when thinking about former actors of Star Trek series. It seems that most continue after the end of the series with a low profile, picking up small acting jobs here and there and generally not reclaiming the attention that they once had. If they made very good money during the Star Trek series they starred in, then perhaps they have a solid financial grounding that is keeping their lives comfortable? I wonder...
