Awesome just seems too extreme for me. Maybe the point was trying to aim high and raise the bar of expectations, but I'm still trying to be a realist. I honestly don't know what 2012 will bring.
If you say so. I always thought Awesome was Awesome.
Awesome/awesome for me, even though my Mom passed away it was still an awesome year overall. I advanced in my job, made friends and mended fences with my brother, I only see 2012 as getting better since I plan to move my Dad to Texas. Time to get started on all the paper work...

I have high hopes for 2012.
The last 6 months or so of 2011 sucked, so 2012 can only be better.
I don't know. Some very bad things, some very good things. I don't know.
In regards to my negative post yesterday, I do at least hope 2012 will be better. 2011 has some really great points for me, but all that was soured by perhaps them being based on a lie, and then a my pet dog and best friend of 15 years dying, and being dumped without even being told I was dumped both in the same week.
That was late October/early November, so the last couple of months of 2011 I've just basically felt like crap.
So I do hope 2012 will improve things, its just my mindset at the moment isn't overly fantastic tbh

I don't want to jinx it but 2012 already looks better than 2011 and we're only four days in. Here's hoping.

I'm actually feeling pretty depressed since the new year hit. Just a general feeling of powerlessness and uselessness. I feel as though I don't serve any real purpose in relation to other people. The only way I can get attention from other people at all is by performing "tricks" for them (like a lame kind of performance art). If this is all that my existence is then what's the point.
The upside of this is that, having now felt really really shitty for the first time in my life, I feel like I need to get help. I think my insurance covers counseling but only for 10 sessions. So just another way that life has screwed me I guess.
