i think after the paramount logo, there should be a starfield with the familiar opening tones of alexander courage theme, with Chris Pine doing the "these are the voyages," speech, with the familiar enterprise flybys, updated with todays effects, then kick into an updated version of the original TOS theme, with the familiar star trek credits, then go into the movie. just my opinion, especially if JJ Abrams wants to go all nostalgic opening for the movie
