How old were you when you saw your first ST ep

I was around 4 at the time, not sure when but it would have been some time after 10pm as that's when star trek has always aired here. It was TNG; Where silence has lease. I remember finding it scary but I enjoyed it. Wasn't really until Generations that i seriously started watching star trek. Then When i went to high school all of the friends I made turned out to be sci fi fans.

I remember watching Generations or First Contact on HBO when it first aired, or rather the adults in the house were and I was just along for the ride. Would have been 8 or 9 i think. I remember seeing it on TV while channel surfing as a kid but I never sat and watched a full episode.
I remember seeing DS9 and being a little more wierded out by it then the other series (I learned to appreciate it more an adult. First series I ever fully owned and watched first run on DVD) I watched my first Trek episode after my father bought me the star trek next generation gameboy game for christmas instead of the Star Wars one I had asked for. Probably about 10 years old at the time I think this was 1997ish. The first episode I distinctly remember watching was Descent Part I or II on Fox late at night. The first series I watched regularly was Voyager, and Enterprise was the first series I watched from start to finish. Im ashamed to admit I'm just now getting into TOS aside from seeing the occasional episode here and there.

The episode was TNG's Conspiracy and I was somewhere between 5 and 8. Quite a violent start.
I was supposed to be in bed because there was school the next day, but I snuck downstairs and watched it hiding behind the couch. My grandpa and oldest brother were watching it. My grandpa didn't see me, but my brother did, and we talked about it at the bus stop the next morning with my other older brother.

I was 18 ... quite late, but it happened when I went away to university. In Australia, it was on quite late - so during my high school years I would be asleep when it was on, and went it was on in prime time, we were watching something that my sister liked to watch. The first episode I watched was Best of Both Worlds.

I must have been 6 or 7 when TOS first aired. In black and white back then. It was deemed not really suitable for children but fortunately my dad and I share a faible for SciFi and so I was allowed to watch it with him.
I don't recall a particular episode but I remember very distinctly that myself and my friends used to play Trek and that we frequently quarrelled because everyone wanted to play Spock and nobody wanted to impersonate Kirk :D
Spock fascinated us (pardon the pun) because he knew everything and never got afraid nor even troubled. And he always found a simple and elegant solution whereas Kirk just stormed into every trouble like an angry and totally blind bull. All glands and no brains.
