I hate legos, specially since I saw those Lego Star Wars and Indiana Jones movies and videogames. But they keep making them, so a lot of people must like them. Well, live and let live, IDIC
I would be very, very happy.
I'd love it. I got the MegaBloks Enterprise-D years ago, and it was fun to put together. The Kre-O are another decent alternative. But, IMO Lego are far superior to the competition, but I'm assuming that due to Mattel having the Trek license and they're the ones that produce Kre-O that Lego won't be able to pick it up (if they're even interested) until the license is up.
It is kind of a huge oversight that Star Trek wasn't licensed out to LEGO before... maybe there was an attempt at it failed? I know one thing: the current Star Wars license at LEGO, which has been extended to 2018 I believe, would not compete with it... why? They currently produce both Marvel and DC comics characters in LEGO and don't seem to care about the competition of both titles.
My guess would be that Trek(TM) is tied up with Kre-O for the foreseeable future. I just think the JJuniverse, fun as it is, limits selection to ships/locations from those two films.

I'd rather have a line of Star Wars-style 3.75-inch action figures and to-scale vehicles (like shuttles) that spans every incarnation of Trek.
When I was a kid I had a billion space legos. Generic enough to make anything you wanted. I made many TIE fighters and Enterprises back then. But I don't really understand the fascination with franchise-specific Legos. Seems like a cop-out to make money and caters to a lack of imagination.
My son already makes Lego Enterprises and Defiants. No licensing necessary.

You should make this thread into a game Bry_Sinclair. People say how much they would love to see something (general trek related) and try to get others to join in their fondness.
I would have loved to see Janeway and Chakotay kiss. She could have turned him down but at least we could have seen the attraction instead of them hinting at it the first few seasons.
