How many populated Solar Systems did the crew Annihilate?

Q said "They my be Mortal but they have our weapons."

The Q were throwing Supernova's at each other. No matter that it looked like they were firing civil war era breech loading rifles at the Q with warning shots and such... Every shot was another sun detonating which was cradling how many civilizations and trillions of lifeforms?

Just a couple warning shots by Tom and Harry and the mass genocides of the Borg seem somewhat trivial.

Probably. I just recall that destroying a sun in Stargate was the high point of Sam Carters careea, and that that Hercules fellah was the richest scary man in the galaxy because he had 40 nova bombs. Of course his engineer was doing it like a monkey with a star too, but that's beside the point.

It just seemed like a huge point to breeze over. Kirk had been killing gods since the dawn of space travel, but running the risk of... If those bullets coming out of the rifles where supernovas... Then what the heck was cannon fire? The detonation of a galaxy?
