How loyal is a hungry dog?

I'm sure this has something to do with science fiction and fantasy, just not sure what.

It's clearly the opening scene to the next Resident Evil movie. The story fails to mention that they are zombie dogs.

On the thread title I thought this MIGHT have something to do with The Joker's similar line of questioning in TDK but the content doesn't seem to go along with that.

Sounds peculiar. Who keeps seven dogs, and who omits to feed them for two weeks? Also, I wonder if they tried to eat each other. Guess they're living on borrowed time now too.

It sounds like one of those flowery episode titles for TV dramas of the 1960s.

Maybe they do it to make the dogs more aggressive towards potential intruders?

Maybe they just don't consider a dog's life worth anything?

Anyway, it's a shame how some people treat their animals. It makes me angry and a bit sad.

I don't know about this guy, but after a few years of working at a veterinary hospital during college, I know there are quite a few less than pleasant people who've deserved what this guy got. I don't know how they got left unattended for 2 weeks, maybe someone was paid but didn't do the job, or maybe he was raising them for livestock. The article mentions dog being part of the local diet. It is an odd tale.

Watch the TV show "Hoarders", particularly the episode where a woman has approximately 17 sextillion cats in her home, many are malnourished and many more dead, and rotting, and still are attached to the placenta.
