I remember this site called How it Should Have Ended, sometimes abbreviated as HiSHE. It basically parodies popular films by proposing alternative endings that often point out popular flaws.
Well I was thinking of a little bit of a forum parody called HiSHW or "How it Should Have Went". It's a parody of various Star Trek episodes which of course revolve around alternative plot-lines for the episodes which sort of parody them.
I'll give a good example
I, Borg
Source Data
1. Exterior, Space
USS Enterprise dropping out of warp-speed as it enters a star system
CAPT Picard (VO): Captain's log, Stardate 45854.2. The Enterprise is charting six star systems that make up the Argolis cluster, an area being considered for colonization.
2. Interior Bridge
LCDR. Troi: It's beautiful
CDR. Riker: Very impressive…
LCDR. Data: Captain, I am detecting a transmission emanating from a small moon orbiting the fourth planet.
CAPT. Picard: What sort of signal?
LCDR. Data: Self repeating, of unknown origin
CAPT. Picard: Lifesigns?
LCDR. Data: Indeterminate, Captain. I am attempting to screen out sensor interference. Readings are still inconclusive, however the moon's atmosphere is capable of supporting life.
CDR. Riker: It could be a distress call. Helm, take us into transport range. Doctor Crusher, meet me in transporter room two with a medical away team.
DR. Crusher: Acknowledged
3. Crash-Sight
CDR. Riker, CDR. Crusher, and Lt. Worf materialize in the foreground. Crusher scans the with her medical tricorder
DR. Crusher: I'm reading one unidentified life form… very weak lifesigns
As the view widens, one sees a person's legs emerging from under some debris, Crusher gestures for Riker and Worf to help her out and they lift it off. To their surprise and horror, they see the survivor's face for the first time. It's a Borg.
Crusher scans the survivor's still form and checks a reading, then administers the appropriate hypospray.
CDR. Riker: Riker to Enterprise
CAPT. Picard (VO): Go ahead, Number One.
CDR. Riker: We'e found the survivor, it's a Borg. Adolescent about, badly injured.
4. Interior Bridge
LCDR Data: There is no indication of Borg activity within sensor range.
CAPT. Picard: Away team, prepare to return to the ship.
DR Crusher (VO): Captain, we can't…
CAPT. That's an order, Doctor. Picard out.
5. Crash-Sight
CDR. Riker: Three to beam up.
CDR. Riker, Dr. Crusher, and Lt. Worf dematerialize
6. Interior Transporter Room
CDR. Riker, Dr. Crusher, and Lt. Worf appear on the transporter pad. They all head out the door into the corridor
7. Interior Bridge
CDR. Riker, and Lt. Worf exit the turbolift and walk onto the bridge
CDR Riker: That transmission we intercepted was probably a homing signal. We have to assume they're on their way, sir.
CAPT Picard: Agreed number one, Data set course for the next system.
LCDR Data: Understood sir
CAPT Picard: Engage
8. Exterior, Space
The USS Enterprise is seen accelerating off to warp.
Anybody have examples of HiSHW?
