Great episode with the goat!!!

I hope it doesn't turn into friends where Mosby sleeps with his students.

They actually revisited the goat. Wasn't sure if they would.

Also, Cobie didn't look pregnant. They must have shot her scenes several months ago. She had the kid only a few days ago, on May 15th.

Bait and switch! Yaaaaaay!

Remember how finished that 70s show?

The clock struck midnight on new years eve 1979 and then the screen went black.

This is frustrating.

They did the professor/student relationship thing with Ross on Friends. I have hopes that TPTB will do something original with it... We'll find out.

When did they film this episode? Cobie Smulders didn't look pregnant at all and she isn't due until later this summer.

You do realize that once Ted actually meets and goes on a date with the mother, the show's pretty much over? The name of the show is How I Met Your Mother after all. :p

Personally, I like how they're handling this. I think that between the episode crossing the infamous 100 episode syndication suggested run in season five and the fact that you can tell we're probably entering the endgame. I have a feeling season five will be the last. I admit, I do kinda wonder why some of the stories we've seen are crucial to the overall story, but they have, for the most part, been fun.

I alluded to that with alegory when i described how that 70s show's final instalment couldn't cross over into the 80s.

besides.

Who says that the two kids both came from the same "Mother"?

"That was the story of how I met your mother, and this is the story of how I met YOUR mother."

Not to pour ice water on the theory, but Sagett/dad always says, "Kids, your mother..." and NEVER says "Kids, your mothers."

;)

I suppose they could all pass for Italian, but that's still very rude language to use to and in front of children.
