In my office, I have several bookshelves with probably around 300 Blu-Rays. All of my bigger boxsets (the Bond Collection, Halloween boxset) I keep on top of the bookshelf, because they take up so much room. On said bookshelves, I arrange the movies alphabetically. I start with movies that only contain numbers as titles (12 Monkeys, 28 Days Later, 300, 2012), then I move on to the As (Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, Aladdin, Alex Cross) and continue down the alphabet in that manner. Now, when I get to a series like Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy, I keep Batman Begins between Batman & Robin and Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, and The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises between The Crazies and The Dark Tower.
Now, here's where my dilemma comes in. When I get to my Star Trek discs, I own all three Abrams movies, 6 TOS movies and 4 TNG movies. I also own three seasons of TOS, one season of TAS, seven seasons of TNG and 4 seasons of ENT. Do I put these in chronological order, with Enterprise coming first, the TOS, TAS, TOS movies, TNG, and TNG movies? If I do this, then where to the Abrams movies go? Or do I put them in Prime Universe/Kelvin Universe order (same order as before, but with the Abrams movies at the end)? Right now, I have them in production order with TOS, TAS, TOS movies, TNG, TNG movies, ENT, then the Abrams films.
So, for all people out there who alphabetize your movies, in what order do you put your discs?
