How do I hook up my Linsys Wireless-B Ethernet Bridge?

I want to get access to the online features of my gaming consoles (PS2, XBox, and Wii) and have no idea how to hook this thing up.

I was told the best way was to hook it too my cable modem, but how do I do that?

Could somebody help, with step by step instructions? :)

You need:

A cable modem with an ethernet port, not a USB port.

A Wireless router

An wired or wireless adapter for each PC on the network

Network cables of sufficient length for any wired connections,

The wireless adapter for your game console.

Vague desciption of typical network follows:

Cable modem attaches to cable.

Router "WAN" or "Internet" port attaches to cable modem ethernet port.

Any wired network PCs attach to the LAN ports on the router.

Make sure you have at least the WEP function on the wireless router turned on for security purposes.

This is just a 50,000 foot overview to make sure you know the pieces you need. For detailed instructions and hook up sequence you'll need to consult the manual for said equiment when it's in your possession.

And if you have WPA, use it instead. WEP was cracked years ago, it's next to useless for security purposes.
