How dick a move would it've been 4 Kim to run the Dr's Family Program?

You know with Kim cast in the role of father knows best.

What's worse underhandedly acquiring the Doctor's dutiful wife's adoration or fiendishly kidnapping the love of the EMH's darling children?

I mean the doctor isn't a person but artists rights, but without actual patents filed... How much protest could the Doctor, if he found out, really put forward about the likeness of a woman who was neither a woman nor his wife being "recycled" for Kim's morbid entertainment?

Or what about Tuvok's holowife for that (holo)matter?

Tuvok stole that windsurfing teacher off Harry, the Vulcan owed him a solid.

A missed opportunity. Adultery on the the holodeck. Do the holo characters remember what they've done and slam the door in the face of their creator because they've been programmed to prefer the cad? Or do they try and keep it a secret but then slip up now and then making the Doctor suspicious?

Interesting.

I was picturing it was months or a few years after the Doctor boxed the program, and Harry just reset the preferences to default to start the story all over again, in so that he would have had to have dealt with his "kid" dying at some point eventually too... Of course that's not the original program, that's just B'Elanna being a prick. Was there much else in the ongoing story to suggest that the Doctor was pissed that b'Elanna murdered his daughter?

But what if Kim romanced the divorcee/widow who had had to struggle to raise her son without a Father as Kim shows up like a white knight?

The Doctor is a deadbeat dad?

That CAD!

I don't care what the Doctor did, no body deserves to rebound with Kim.

On a similar note, would it be frowned up to make a hologram of, say, the hot girl from accounts who turned you down at the xmas party and bump uglies with it?

According to holo Pursuits, at that point in time there was no legal issues to misusing the holographic likeness of a real person. Which still must have been true when Quark made a Kira lightbulb for one of Jeffrey Coombs alter egos to turn on... Meanwhile Leah Brahms instead of locking Geordi up in a halfway house for degenerate lechers, married the the dopey SOB.

Real people are not protected by the law. Works of fiction and intellectual rights are.

Which brings us back to the question, are lightbulbs under developed people or overdeveloped dolls?

I recall that there was a Volley ball team that competed in some beach Olympics who where part of that resort program, to which harry and Tom had a nudge nudge wink wink moment where they were considering more than just playing Volley ball with these sporting icon heroes.
