How about H&I start airing Trek movies

I take it they don't have the rights to do so yet but I would love for H&I to start airing Star Trek movies! I would especially like H&I to air Star Trek: Generations but weirdly after an airing of "All Good Things..." since chronologically, Star Trek: Generations took place after "All Good Things..." (a year after TNG's seventh season to be exact) but I guess this would work best if the airings of "All Good Things... Part 1" fell on a Thursday, and then "All Good Things... Part 2" on Friday, then Star Trek: Generations would show on Saturday.

Anyway, I remember at one point a Star Trek: Nemesis was airing on some movie channel called This and recently on HBO, i think. I'm thinking since all the Trek shows except of course for Discovery are on H&I, why not the movies? I'm thinking they could also air the six movies before Star Trek: Generations. I remember around 2010 or 2009 or whenever, one night around Thanksgiving holiday there was a special airing of Star Trek: Generations on TV on what used to be called UPN! I loved it!

Anyway, I just think it would be cool every once in a while if a Trek feature film would air on the H&I channel.

I don't know about the situation as to who has the rights to air TNG movies. Have you tried writing an email to the H&I channel to ask (or petition) if it could/would air TNG movies?

Do you get the Movieplex channel? I noticed that just recently Movieplex has aired GEN, FC, and Insurrection. Usually these types of channels would air the same movies over and over again over a period of time. Check out their tv schedule.

Or one could just pick them up on DVD. With a bit of hunting around, you probably wouldn't pay more than a couple bucks for each of them.

I should add that if H&I's parent company, Weigel Broadcasting, did have the rights to the Trek films, then they'd be more likely to show up on Decades and/or Movies!, two Weigel networks whose formats do include showing feature films.
