How about a Klingon "Game of Thrones" type of Trek series?

We will most likely be getting more and more shows and it occurred to me a story set in the distant past of the Klingon Homeworld could be interesting. Kahless could be your main hero and Molor or his brother are the bad guys or one of the bad guys. Also they did have warp back then I think so you could see the Hurq as well. Naturally it would involve tons of sword fighting and maybe this would be the first really Trek show that gets a Mature label though I wouldn't want to go to far with it.

Don't give them ideas.

Although I really did like the Klingon stuff for most of Disco season one, on the beautiful ship where they all spoke Klingon, that was enough. By the time Michael was fighting Kol, I'd had enough.

Why stop there? There are lots of drama series that could be adapted to the Star Trek setting... we could have something like The Americans, with Obsidian Order agents living deep undercover in the Federation, a The Wire-like crime procedural about the Federation's inability to deal with the Orion Syndicate and how it affects the people on the frontier, maybe even a Chernobyl-like miniseries about the Praxis incident... The possibilities are limitless.

Game of Thrones themes, but set in the 23rd/24th century Federation, as various Federation members compete for control of the Federation council. No dragoons.

Baring that, a House of Cards show in the Federation council.

This, but WITH dragons. We have that space whale thing. Make it bigger, more menacing and weaponize it. I could see it.

The Ropers worked great when placed against Jack, Janet, and Chrissy. But when put into their own show, did they fare as well?

...But the Bundys were not too far different to the Ropers and yet they managed for 11 seasons...

Isn't the Klingon storyline from season 1 of Disco basically just Game of Thrones in space anyway? Or GoT-lite anyway.

"Don't give them ideas", says the guy who started the "Your CBS series ideas" thread.

A Klingon storyline is the best way to do a GoT type series. But it probably has to be a mini-series. I don't think I can take multiple seasons of a Klingon show.

Well Kurtzman says he listens to fans. So anything we say gets considered!:)

So when do we get the Pike series?

Poor Kurtzman, he must get no sleep nowadays

But this must surely mean we only have to strike that delicate balance with bringing our favorite ideas often enough that it catches his attention but not too often lest he start blocking them out...

Alex, if you're listening, Space Pirate Captain Killy. That is all.

How about......Star Trek: 24. New character Mack Sauer, a field director of FCEU - Federation Counter Espionage Unit, works to prevent espionage activities within the Federation. Events occur in real time.

Set it on Bajor and give him 26 hours so you can go back to oldy days of 26 episodes per year. Maybe some Bajorans don't like being part of the Federation and they want to bring down their government.

Since Discovery is one of the few times I've been interested in the Klingons, with their multiple houses and the politics this could be interesting. I mean, I would at least be willing to try it out, and that's a stretch for me with the Klingons. But, DSC at least showed me that Klingons could be interesting again.

I'd watch it, but having dozens of cast members in full Klingon make up would become a logistical nightmare, not to mention expensive.

The Khan mini series could have potential to become a GoT style show

I'd watch it, but I can't imagine a less accessible show than that......I always hated the boring ass Klingon stuff in TNG and DS9, mostly cause it made no sense.
