How 3rd-rate the Doctor thinks all his fleshy pals in Renaissance Man!

Guy Gardener

Fleet Admiral
Admiral
The fricking Malon.

Two of them waddling about in a cramped runabout.

No perceivable suport.

Janeway actually says the right stuff, don't capitulate, let them kill me, the mission is more important than just my life, or words to that effect. Sitting in a cupboard with a hand gun pointed at her by bureaucrats with seemingly little to no effective martial skills even if they have the will to kill with out mercy... But firing torpedoes is hardly the same as tracking Janeway with a hand weapon while shes shoulder rolling, leaping above their eye-level and then elbowing these portly buggers in the ear up to her armpit.

HE EJECTED THE WARPCORE!

Lied to every one.

This episode alone is enough reason to decommission the Doctor and ask for someone to fricking get off their ass and get a medical degree because these AI just can't be trusted in a wired situation where effective and balanced cognitive decisions have to take place rationally.

But how difficult was it to just do what Janeway told him to?

Tell Tuvok and rescue her (or retrieve her blasted and dumped corpse from space).

Re: How 3rd-rate the Doctor thinks all his fleshy pals in Renaissance

Although I don't disagree with your assessment of the season 5 Malon (fricking indeed), that's not what the season 6 spud people are called.

I don't recall if we ever got a true name, but their overarching government was "The Heirarchy".

As for "how difficult was it to listen to Janeway"??? As much as everyone wants to trust, to believe her... there's a problem.

Every one will risk THEIR life on her gut instinct... but they WON'T risk HER life.

That's the problem with love, be it organic or holographic. It really screws with your logic.

The Doctor was on to something in "Tinker Tenor Doctor Spy" VOY could have used a "photonic cannon".
