Since the series is winding down, these threads don't get much traffic anymore I'm just going to start one last "House" thread and be done with it.

I figured it wouldn't be on tonight due to the College Basketball championship game but, alas, it is on.

Tonight - Apirl 2, 2012:

8x15 "Blowing the Whistle"

From TV.com:

An Army veteran charged with treason is brought to the hospital for treatment, but refuses to cooperate unless the military give him and his brother information about their father. Meanwhile, Adams asks Wilson and her teammates for help when she suspects that House is concealing an illness

The hot girl from Breaking In.

Maybe he is dying, and predisastering their suspicion by telling them the truth but making it seem like a lie.

Double bastard.

We haven't watched at all this season. Who is "Adams"?

The replacement Thirteen. She's one of House's new fellows who previously worked in the infirmary of the prison House was in at the start of the season. She followed him back to New Jersey to be part of his team when he was paroled due to the necessity of his Mad Doctoring Skillz. She's from a rich background and somewhat stuffy and repressed. Sort of a mix of Cameron and Thirteen.

There's another new fellow in Parks, a mousy Asian girl assigned to House's team when she was awaiting disciplinary action from an incident her previous department. She's part Masters (in that Parks is somewhat brilliant and socially awkward) and part Chase (in that she's a punching bag for House).

Foreman has replaced Cuddy as the Dean of Medicine, in charge of running PPTH.

Mousey?

She punched her last boss in the nose and landed him on his ass.

Don't let the hair cut fool you, she's a fire cracker.

Well, her overall behavior and demeanor is a bit mousy but as House has suggested, someone more interesting lurks deep in her.

I believe she claimed to have had 36 sexual partners.

Considering she still lives at home, that's very impressive.

But i suppose what she does behind locked car doors is under the surface.

Tonight: 8x16: "Gut Check"

From TV.com:

A 22-year old minor league hockey player collapses while fighting in the rink, and ends up at the hospital. Meanwhile, House surprises Wilson with some news and Chase offers to help Park with her living arrangements.

Even though it felt off the whole time (especially considering how convenient it was), I'm disappointed that Wilson didn't actually have an 11-year old son all the sudden. That would have been a nice dynamic if only for a few more remaining episodes. Alas.

This one was pretty dumb. I'm getting so tired of the cliche of "the whole subplot is just House lying to screw with someone/teach the a lesson," which was the case with both plots here to an extent. It kind of renders the whole story a waste of time if none of it is real.

the kid was way too nice and accepting of Wilson so i figured House had a hand in things. i was more interested in the Chase/Park story to be honest.

I felt there was something strange about the kid too - way too well balanced and had too many of the same likes & interests as Wilson. At first, I thought it was a set-up, but not by House, but by the "Falconer" girlfriend/mother who, knowing Wilson's nature, would take advantage of him, particularly when the kid told him the sob story about the fall-out with the family. In retrospect, I should have guessed it was House, but I was kind-of hoping for a B-story that was genuinely isolated from that part of Wilson's life.

Thought the kid was a plant.
Noticed the car commercial this time.

I think it's House who is a Father considering his strong opinions on throwing ones life away on a kid you didn't want.
