Great episode all around. I loved Dutch as the patient. He was my favorite character on the Shield and it's good to see him in other projects. The House/Wilson story was also solid and seeing House get worried at one point was especially touching.

The two highlights for me were the confrontation between House and PotW and the House asking for Chase's help.

I'm sure there has been an episode in a series where the cat is the cause of symptoms.

Eh, twice but indirectly.

Early Season 1 episode where a dead cat was a clue to symptoms, an autopsy performed by House on the cat revealed the POTW's illness -poisoning from a gas being released by termites inside POTW's bedroom walls.

Same thing pretty much happened in an S3 episode where a dead cat clued Chase into POTW's illness -poisoning from a fumigation in a neighboring house through a shared pipe.

Did anybody else notice House slipping into Hugh Laurie's british accent while being nice (near the end)?

Great episode, by the way. The Wilson/House moments were some of the best of the entire series, and Dutch's moments with his wife/child were heart-breaking.

Three years later we finally get back to Wilson's estranged homeless brother!

Whoa..... apparently that's an episode I've not seen yet. What was the story?

Early/mid Season One. House and the team deal with a homeless woman which strikes a chord with Wilson. House's probing causes Wilson to reveal why he has so much compassion for the homeless patient -his brother is homeless and has been missing for years. All pretty much revealed during a warm chat between Wilson and House at the end of the episode.

That's the first and last we heard about Homelison.

Wasn't the homeless woman Jack Bauer's wife?

And next week we get Judy Greer as the pt. Let's hope she spends most of it in a coma, she bugs the Hell out of me. In my mind she stands out as the one glaring mistake in Arrested Development.

Honestly, I loved it. The dialogue, the focus on House/Wilson, tying the POTW into that, it was all great. I had to give it an "Excellent" because this was better than all the episodes I've been giving "Good" to.

I liked the Harry Potter reference at the beginning, especially since I'm listening to the audiobooks and just got to that chapter a couple nights ago.
