From TV.com:

House attempts to negotiate with a wealthy patient who is planning to relocate his labor force to China. Meanwhile, Foreman chairs Park's disciplinary hearing, while Adams assesses her own ethics when she learns of their patient's relocation plans.

House Medical Reviews

Wow. I'm the first reviewer? :wtf:

Good episode. I love that House did a backdoor bet with Wilson to the whole Park situation in addition to his bet with Park. I'm really glad she's sticking around and I look forward to Taub and Chase returning to the team. It's interesting to note that there will be one member from the old brigade, one member from the not so old brigade, and two from the new brigade working together.

However, that being said, I'm already not liking Adams because she's reminding me too much of Cameron. It seems like the writers only know how to write two types of female Doclings: the beautiful yet dysfunctional and the nerdy yet stubbornly smart. Only Amber really broke away from that mold.

The episode was pretty good. I've got nothing really more to say than that. I do suspect that even though House bought his second office back the orthopedics department would still want that pretty expensive equipment and smashing it up probably wouldn't be a good idea. ;)

Adams I like okay, but Park still remains quite the stand out.

Didn't they cover rich patients & ethics in the last episode?

Well, that was the point -- or more of a short arc, I guess. House was only taking ultra-rich patients because he wanted them to make donations that would fund his department. Presumably now that he's achieved that goal, he'll go back to choosing patients on the basis of who has the most interesting problems.

At the end, shouldn't Adams have been wearing safety goggles too? And was House actually doing her a favor as a moment of bonding/kindness, or was he just using her to vicariously take out his own frustrations on the orthopedics lab?

Yeah, Adams probably should have goggles too, I thought about that during one of the pieces near the end where a bit of glass flew towards her face.

And was House actually doing her a favor as a moment of bonding/kindness, or was he just using her to vicariously take out his own frustrations on the orthopedics lab?

Yes.

;)

This is the first full episode of "House" I've seen since last season and I quite liked it. Took me a little bit to figure out who Park and Adams were (Odette Yustman is great in Breaking In, I had no idea she had joined the cast of "House"). From the slight grin on House's face when Adams was smashing everything I suspect he was indeed using her to take out his own frustrations on the orthopedics lab. As someone who has been in and out of one over the last several years myself I kind of dug that scene.

This felt like a return to form for House's character from about season 2. I liked it.

Wonder what Odette will do if Breaking In gets picked up for renewal. (though the chances of that are slimming)

According to the holy wikipedia, Breaking In is in production as a midseason replacement. Odette has been able to juggle her schedule accordingly to fit into both, which suggests that she'll be missing or have smaller roles in several House episodes to compensate, as her Breaking In role is larger, albeit in a half-hour show.

^What I've heard is that Odette Annable is signed on for less than a full season's worth of House episodes. So there will be some that she isn't in.

IMDb is not comprehensive for a season in progress. I recall reading a news release saying the number of episodes she was signed for was in the double digits. I can't seem to find it now, though.

Parks and Adams have both learned, fairly quickly, how to deal with House. :)

Parks' reaction to her slap-on-the-wrist from the board when walking back into the office was a bit over-the-top geeky but I also sort-of liked it.

eh, it was an ok episode. looking forward to next week when Chase and Taub return.
