House 5x06 "Joy" Discussion and Spoilers

Man, that the dichotomy of the unhappy folks and the ecstatic new mommy Cuddy, suddenly switching to the happy folks finally able to smile and the heartbreak of Cuddy losing the kid -- man, that was a brick to the heart.

I am one of those who, while sympathizing with Cuddy's "I want to be a mommy," agrees with House that she would be a lousy mother. She doesn't have the free time or focus to raise a baby (A BABY!!!) alone, and either the baby or her job (or likely both) would suffer seriously if she tried. But damn -- I still felt bad for her.

I'm sorry to say I must have seen too much TV. I saw the conversion to "I want to be a mommy" coming when the episode began. It was still a good episode though just for the ending.

Great, great episode. House has been hit and miss for a very long time, but this one is closer to the classics of season 1 and 2

Ah what bliss to be hearing my name throughout the entire episode; not only was the mother's name Rebekah (which is my first name), but Cuddy was going to name the baby Joy (which is my middle name). Awesome.

And FINALLY! House and Cuddy kissed! Can't wait for the next episode!
