An ailing man suffers from blackouts and sleepwalks, leading the team to wonder if his sleepwalking is a symptom, or how the man is becoming exposed to something else. When the man's daughter grows ill as well, the team must provide a diagnosis before both die. Meanwhile, Cuddy adopts a newborn but when the birth mother displays a rash, she has to make a decision between putting the mother or daughter at risk.

Am I reading that right? Three medical mysteries. Holy cow, I hope they can achieve a sense of balance in forty minutes.

I'll have to watch this episode a bit later, since I'm actually out of town.

EDIT: Okay, technically two mysteries and three patients. Just thought it out.
 
I'll have to check in with you all, later. This evening I've given up the TV to my daughter, who just had some fun little oral surgery today.
 
The House/Cuddy kiss was unexpected.*

Yeah, that was a bit of a surprise.

Anyone else think there might end up being a House Junior next season? Now that Cuddy is "giving up", she might end up getting pregnant after all. It happens...

That case was interesting.

Poor Cuddy. I knew the birth mother would decide to keep the baby. :(
 
When I saw the kiss, a part of me was hoping we would later see House's guy give Wilson an envelope with a picture of them kissing).

It was just a routine procedure to go with her braces. Still, she wasn't her usual chipper self, so I did the "Dad thing". :lol:

Incidentally, a friend clued me in on the House/Cuddy kiss, about two weeks ago. Don't know where she got her information from, though.

My first reaction: Wow, House is kissing Cuddy (I hadn't seen the preview). Second reaction, wow, what case of stubble burn! I mean, ouch...

Giving it an Excellent, obviously. Personally a moving story about a father and daughter who learn how to smile would have been enough for me to give it that, but then the incredible dichotomy of emotions... wow. "Joy" was a very appropriate title on numerous levels.

And while I had seen a preview, apparently my preview was completely different because I didn't see The Kiss coming at all. I have to admit, though, I squealed like a girl. Not really a shipper per se, but it was a fun soap opera moment. :p
 
Great episode. I also laughed out loud when Talb asked the woman, "Can I buy some cocaine please?" :guffaw::guffaw:
 
I laughed when Chase said, "This is Dr. Gregory House, the one you'll be suing if you get sepsis."

Yeah, that was good. :lol:

I figured Cuddy wouldn't get the baby, but I was expecting the baby to die, and Cuddy would blame herself for misjudging the situation.
