"For the beginning of Season 5, Castiel -- having been blown to bits -- will somehow come back, but this time with a bull's eye on his back. The angel will then be rescued from an awful fate that will put him on the run ... and hunted.

I hope this doesnt mean Castiel wont be in be back seat type of teaming with the guys as that would take away from the brothers.

And the 4 horsemen, God, etc, Cant wait to next month.

I hope Gods apperance also leads to a second coming of Jesus maybe as a vessel for God, kinda like the and Conner/Cordy kid ended up being Jasmine.
 
well if God is real, it could well mean (at least in the Supernatural verse) that Jesus is to, and his body is somewhere
 
Since this is a thread about season 5 news I just thought I'd post the news that ITV2 has lost the rights in the UK. It will instead air on Living, and get much lower ratings...
 
yes im sure you are right, its going to be on V1 at least 6 months after its on Living, actually we are due a new series of Criminal Minds on V1 as well (aired on Living first) and so far no sign, so I would not bank on V1 showing Supernatural on any fixed timetable.
 
From what I understand, Living gets the exclusive rights to season 6 if there is a season six (I still hope not, the story would seem complete after Lucifer) out of this deal. I don't know why ITV2 is tripping and didn't renew it. I'm just glad that Kripke said they're going to write this season five arc as originally planned and not spread it out into a season six if necessary. The story won't get diluted.

God. They should get Whoopi Goldberg to play God. :lol: I heard her say on The View that she's a big fan of the show. She wanted to talk about SPN when Jeffrey Dean Morgan was a guest instead of Grey's Anatomy and Watchmen.

Could just be that Living outbid them. I believe the outbid E4 on Ghost Whisperer after the first season. I think Virgin Media are trying to up the profile of Living since they're launching a HD version (and apparently trying to sell their portfolio of channels).
 
to be fair Living does have a few decent shows, its a shame they launched V1 on freeview rather than Living IMO
 
Folks, one of the entertainment gossip sites is trying to push the rumor that Paris Hilton is going to appear on Supernatural.

Do yourselves a favor and don't buy into it. I assure you that it isn't true. :guffaw: Jared can't stand her. He's a congenial man, but he'd stomp Kripke into the ground if he even thought about it. :lol:

It seems that Ben Edlund's psychotic sense of humor has taken hold in a script. The one with the homicidal Abe Lincoln. She'll be in that one. Maybe Lincoln offs her. She seems to like SPN. Must have a good sense of humor about herself. Oh well. Can't fault her taste in shows.
 
I wouldn't mind a cameo by God. But any major focus on him runs the risk of making it Left Behind: The Series. My theory is that he was overthrown by DoucheAngel and his cabal and he's living his life as a human somewhere. Probably as Rob Halford. Hmm. A gay metal head who sings songs about Satan and fucking. Yeah that will piss people off. I say do it.
 
Based on the posts that people make on TrekBBS, the only person you'd accept playing God is... Joss Whedon? :p
