Reflections on reaching a half century..(this past Sunday..and Dear Wife and I moved to the Bay Area on my birthday)
Less hair, and what remains is mostly grey..
Star Trek TOS is the best damn TV show ever made..And I dare any of you punks to prove otherwise..
The space program I witnessed as a child is a lot cooler than the one we have now (we were gonna colonize the freakin MOON by the time I was 30 dammit then on to Mars!!!)..
Sadly, I still can't commute to work via jetpack, I'm stuck in a 2008 Nissan Versa..
TVs are much better now, but the shows are a waste of high technology..and my intelligence.
The Internet isn't near as much fun as it was when it was younger.
At least my wife still loves me...
Anyone else 50 or older have any observations like those above to share (Well, I'll lower the bar for those in their 40s on up)
