The top two are kind of predictable by now, but it's refreshing to see "Family" make a top 10 of TNG episodes, never mind the entire franchise. I love the episode, and it's nice to see it highlighted. Also good "Q Who" and DS9's "Emissary" made the top 20, though I was surprised "Ship In A Bottle" ranked so highly.

22 TOS episodes in the top 100? TOS has 79 episode and most of them were unwatchable

And "City On The Edge Of Forever" is where it belongs, where it always has and always will belong.

22 sounds reasoanble to me, but age could be playing a part in that, I remember the days before TNG/DSN etc... when there was only TOS and a few films.

let's be honest, TOS wasn't a masterpiece. It is the worst ST series togheter with ENT, but at least ENT has a good 4th season

Yeah, there definitely is a TOS bias here. People have different opinions on LTBYLB, but #11? I think they're also a bit tough on Enterprise and Voyager. I would expect those two to have less, but they're all on the low end. Enterprise had what, one episode in the top 50?
Battlefield doesn't even belong on the list, let alone 11.

Well if we are being honest, none of the ST shows are masterpeices in terms of TV shows. I could say DSN was the best ST show and ENT the worst overall but that's just my opinion, just as yours is TOS is the worst. But if you don't mind me asking which was the order you watched the ST shows? Mine was TOS-TNG-DSN-VOY-ENT
But the tile is 100 best episodes. Hell, I like Spocks's Brain, but I'd never put it on any list of best episodes.
LTBYLB is a 10 minute PSA stretched out to an hour.
It's just really, really bad television, there's probably ~700 episodes of Star Trek I'd rate above it.
It shouldn't be no. 11 by any definition of best episode of ST.
Somebody liked the message of LTBYLB but didn't notice that it was hitting them over the head with a sledgehammer.
