hmmm

I'm gonna have to watch this again all the way through. But my impression wasn't so much she was in love with him, but in love with the notion that she was going to go travelling.

Not a great story, but there were parts I loved. The beginning and ending mainly.

Though my favorite bit remains:

"So across the British Channel are Great France and Great Germany?"

"No, just France and Germany. Only Britain is Great."

Yeah, I concede that's a great line. I laughed out loud. :techman:

It's the sort of thing where they obviously weren't IN love with each other, but they had obviously developed A love for each other. They cared about each other, and they were obviously attracted to one-another. It could have grown into all-out romantic love, or it could have fizzled out into platonic love. But there definitely was a love story there, even if it wasn't "OMG ur my 1 tru wuv for the rest of time1111"

I think it's probably the best of the three Crimbo episodes. The first is hampered by the regeneration, The Runaway Bride has got all that Rose stuff, but Voyage of the Damned just gets on with it. I thought Kylie worked well, the rest of the cast were great, and the design was brilliant. Even my Dad liked it, which really is something. It was perfect television to watch when you're slightly sloshed on Christmas evening.
