So I have to admit that I haven't followed all the threads in this board too closely until the trailer came out, so I'm sure much of the info here has been discussed before. But for those of us trying to wring out as many clues as possible about this movie, I think the (admittedly incomplete and probably not 100% accurate) IMDB page and cast list for this movie provides some interesting clues. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0796366/

Warning, possible spoilers.

Remember those guards in the trailer? Klingon or Romulan seems to be a debate. Clue? It might be worth noting that there is a "Klingon Guard #1", "Klingon Guard", "Klingon Soldier," and "Klingon Prison Guard" listed as characters. Oddly, though, the person playing "Klingon Prison Guard" appears to be approximately 8 years old. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm2841955/

Trouble for young Spock? There is a "Vulcan Bully #1" and #2.

Is that Uhura or someone else Kirk seems to be sleeping with in the trailer? My vote is definitely not for Uhura. The woman really does look green in the trailer on my computer screen, and the IMDB page lists an "Orion Slave Girl" as a character (played by Diora Baird), who, if I HAD to guess, looks kind of like the person in the trailer. The hair seems to be red in both cases too.

Tyler Perry actually appears in this movie, as "Starfleet Academy Chief". Um, ok. Most of you also know that Paul McGillion, Christopher Doohan, and recently deceased author Randy Pausch are all listed as appearing in the movie as well.

Anyway, just a few notes I made of what we see on the IMDB page. Take it all with a grain of salt, because who knows how accurate it is.

Edit: well, I just read that news item. Abrams confirms that's Nero at a Klingon prison.

I think you'll find that all of these have been discussed previously to some degree or other. About some, like the Klingon prison guards and Vulcan bullies, very little is known. Most of the rest can be found under discussion in one of the threads about the trailer, so allow me to direct you to those, and I'll close this.
