Howdy!
I have discovered a decent video site called
www.liveleak.com. It's sort of a poor man's You Tube.
Today I have watched some videos that reviewed the Star Trek TNG films. The person who narrates the film seems to have liked the TV shows, but really ripped into the TNG movies. To me it was hilarious
. It's in four parts, except for Generations review in three parts.
Star Trek: Inserrection.

One thing the guy points out is that the movies were "action films" which was a lot different than the TNG series. Too many explosions, space battles, cliches etc.
The narrator thought that Picard's personality totally changed from the T.V. show to the movies. He thought that movie Picard was more violent, impulsive. He did not like the people who made these movies. It seems like this guy enjoyed the TV shows and clips from all the series are also included, usually to show a contridictions from the shows and the movies.
One warning, the narrator uses R rated language at times and has a weird sense of humor. He talks like Larry Flynt. Maybe it is Larry Flynt! But he does hit home with what I think what was so bad about the TNG films.
Enjoy and discuss!
