Highly Speculative Terminator: TSC Theory

Would it be possible for more than one intelligent sentient A.I. to exist?

Think of it as an equal, yet opposite to Skynet.

I had the idea tonight after watching T:TSC 2x10.

We saw 'John Henry' which I think it based off of the TURK (which played Chess initially.)

However, 'Emma' was also theorized in concept (without hardware) as an intelligent A.I. (which plays Go) who might have similar, yet fundamentally different ways of approaching a particular topic or problem.

Now, I'm not saying that 'Emma' ever gets fully realized, BUT...

I did start to think about how maybe Cameron could be working for a rouge 'Machine' faction from within SKYNET who is also working in tandem with John Connor (from the future.)

It would explain why John may be seen as unstable by his men in the future (without him being all 'Stockholm' or anything) as well as why he and Cameron might be working together as allies attempting to manipulate a particular future to occur.

Maybe one in which Judgment Day is averted, but the 'Machines' still get to go on as well...

(Obviously not full proof, but maybe there's something there... maybe not.)

Thoughts?

I think it already does, it's called a Terminator.

I think John Conner is creating his own future without without Skynet because he keeps sending Terminators which are already another form of A.I. from the future to the past. Everytime he does, someone sees it or technology is left behind to influence it, so that type of A.I. is continually created.

The very existance of a Terminator in our time is what keeps creating Judgement Day. John Conner isn't just the savior but also the cause.

Yes it would be possible. It has been seen in the Terminator Franchise actually.

MIR

Long story short MIR was a Russian equivalent of the Skynet Project that was activated to take control over the continents of Asia and Europe. MIR didn't particularly like Skynet, but worked alongside it to develop terminators. It was attempting to gain access to the last nuclear missiles to launch a strike against Skynet's primary computer core processor when it was last seen. It was tactically weaker than Skynet and Skynet constantly questioned its abilities - leading to their dislike of one another.
