What if, like in the original movie, Connor becomes mortal at the end and Lambert has a cameo as an old Connor?

It's so stupid and lame, I know. But maybe kinda cool?

I think it would be difficult to envisage or accept Lambert as an older version of Cavill. Looks, voice, mannerisms, they’re just not at all alike.

100% correct. And they really shouldn't do that. But a part of me would find it kinda cool.
