Hey, I've got an actual novel coming out!

Hi all, I hope I'm putting this in the right place.

So I managed to secure a publication contract for my novel, the same one I'd used for my MFA thesis (Though much changed since then). It's a thriller novel about a group of pro wrestlers who run afoul of some meth dealers in West Virginia in 1997.

I just launched a website for myself (and the book) that I hope some of you might be willing to check out. I'm trying to keep it interesting with regular blog posts that will cover a wide range of topics I'm interested in, from literature to Star Trek to movies to toys...we'll see where it goes, lol.

Any advice on the layout that I may have overlooked would also be greatly appreciated, thank you!

Congratulations on your novel, @Cr0sis21 ! That's great news!

Since you are looking for feedback on the design of your website, I would recommend that you start a thread in the Web Sites/Design forum on that topic. (Normally we discourage cross-posting, but we've discussed it and the consensus is that it would be OK in this case.)

In case you don't know, I should mention that solicitation is against the board rules. I know that's not what you're doing here, so no worries with this post! But when the time comes that it gets closer to the publication date, you wouldn't be able to make a post asking for sales or directing people to where to buy it, sorry. However, I bring this up because we do typically allow unobtrusive sales links in one's signature. So when the time comes, if you wanted to put a purchase link in your signature, that shouldn't be a problem.
