I got my first short story published in March of this year!
It's small press of course, but it is available on Amazon.com and Barnes and Noble.com.
It's a comedic fantasy story about a female warrior who travels to a distant land to stop an evil dictator who can foretell the death of anyone around him. It's called The Life and Death of Beryl Truesword by Derek Beebe in A Bard Day's Knight, Edited by Michael Ventrella

Michael Ventrella and I have co-written the novel length follow up to my story which is getting published in August 2016, so I'll actually get my name on the cover that time!
It's also the first Fortannis story to guest-star his main characters in another story.
There's four other novels in the Fortannis series: two by Ventrella, and two anthologies by various authors. I was published in the third such anthology.
Ventrella also recently published an urban fantasy book called Bloodsuckers about a vampire running for President of the United States. He has a fun writing style with a good sense of humor.
