I've liked his reviews and enjoyed reading them quite a lot over the years. I do wish he would stop spontaneously changing his rating system, he's done it over and over again, and you can see where he goes back and edits them, and doesn't go all the way through the books. Great reviews, yet too many unnecessary changes to perfectly good ratings. It's a fun site to follow.

Just like with KRAD's reviews on Tor.com, the number/rating is not as important as all of the details within the review.

I find DSS very helpful in giving high points and opinions on the older novels, especially when they go on sale at the start of the month. The site has reviews through the Far Beyond the Stars novelization so far, and everything after that is covered more and more by a multitude of internet sites.

The flowchart of TrekLit and DSS are the only sites for Trek books that I have bookmarked. My other main sources are this site and the podcasts Literary Treks and Positively Trek.
