Okay guys, I know there's been a lot of speculation over the DVD extras, so I'm gonna confirm whats on the 2-Disk DVD edition.

I just recieved mine in the post today from Amazon - praise the postal services!

Right, so firstly - the double sided STAR TREK cover rocks.

Here are the extras:

  • Disk 1

  1. Commentary by JJ, Bryan Burk, Alex, Damon Lindelof and Orci.
  2. Gag Reel
  3. Doc: A New Vision

  • Disk 2

  1. Deleted Scenes with Optional Commentary
  2. Doc: To Boldy Go
  3. Doc: Casting
  4. Doc: Aliens
  5. Doc: Score
If everyone still cares, I'll pop back later with a bit of review... By the way, this is the UK version but I suspect the US 2-Disk is pretty much the same. :vulcan:

Brilliant, thanks. I mean, we don't already have a bunch of threads already devoted to the DVDs nor are there any places to discover information on the extras for a DVD coming out in three days.

I got my copy in today's post {Guess that AlecZ and I shop at the same place. I was surprised to get it this early as it's was supposed to be released on Tuesday, not complaining though as this is the time I have seen the film.

I've looked at the docu on disc 1, basically it is a praising of the directo, the blooper reel is average and so nothing really sepectacular. I have only watched the cut scenes on disc, they are interesting but can see why they were left out with the exception of Spock's birth. I will watch the rest of disc 2 tomorrow.

The extras for each of the sets have been known for some time and have been posted or linked in this forum several times before, most recently here. I'm going to close this and recommend that discussion of extras take place in the currently-running thread about them or in one of the other current threads related to the Blu-Ray and DVD sets.
