Henry Gibson dies (Boston Legal, DS9, King of the Hill)

No way! I just watched the episode in which he is trying to cure his gayness. One of the funniest hours ever! He was easily the best judge on the show!

And it was fucking cancer!!!!

He was one of the guys who almost everybody has seen at one point somewhere.. be it a movie or a TV show but rarely do people know his name.

I guess it was his time finally..

Oh man, that sucks.

Awesome bit/character actor.

:(

He was one of the few in "The Burbs" who made me laugh.

Damn, it sucks to get to be 60 as all of the ones you grew up with are on the way out. :(

Henry, I have an oversized flower and a poem for you...RIP /**

Too bad. That guy was always good, no matter the part. He was brilliant in Nashville, maybe should have got an Oscar nomination.

And of course the immortal Blues Brothers: "Gruppenfuhrer, get that car's license plate number. We're gonna kill that son of a bitch."

My respects to Mr. Gibson.

Aw, man. He was only a year older than my dad! :( I thought he was much older for some reason.

He was great on Laugh-In.

I'll always remember him first for his stint on Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In, but it was good to see him continue to turn up in other things over the years.

Is the frog the farmer's friend?
I don't know.

I guess you can tell us now, Henry. Thanks for the laughs.

The same guy from Laugh-In (Verrrrrry interesting... but stupid!) and the lead Nazi in The Blues Brothers, you mean?

TBH I thought he died years ago, but it's still a shame.

Good actor. Funny guy. My favorite role of his was in the Blues Brothers as the neo-nazi. Sorry to see him go.

Henry Gibson was both funny and innovative in his comedy. His roles on Laugh-In were unique in their approach, often finding humor in areas never mined by more conventional comics. He managed to create several memorable roles in movies as well and left his mark for years to come. RIP.

One of my favorite people ever. :) I'd post his appearance in The Kentucky Fried Movie, one of my favorite Henry Gibson bits ever, but it would be in even poorer taste than it is normally. (It's a joke about death. ;)) Goodbye Henry. You'll be missed. :(
