Hello,

I'm looking for help in making a game with some Star Trek influence. I've been working on a game it as a side project.

I need a writer or creative ideas. . Writer for short blurbs and character race creation. If someone has any written, feel free to contact

The biggest thing is getting a duty officer, activity types, and other basic game play done.

Some quirk super alpha testing models and app

Questions
Is it completely Star Trek?
No. I'm looking to add other aspects on a bigger scale.

Can a resource crafting system be made?
Yes. The unseen version have backend code to build a crafting system based off the periodic table. Trek and science catch words. 300%

I'll be happy with a writer, concept artist, programmer, and/or any other contributor.

Feel free to contact me at cgprojectsfx@gmail.com

If you're using any copyrighted Paramount/CBS intellectual property, even race logos, the mention of revenue sharing is going to bring them down on you. You aren't allowed to make money off it, unless you have a contract with them.

It's not just about images either, it will include what you're naming your ships, planets, weapons, source for your sound effects, etc.

I'll keep that in mind. I would still contact them about the logo usage as to that's the only thing that might pertain to Star Trek. As to I'm not mentioning anything else concerning Star Trek nor using any intellectual property other then two fan based logos I am making.

On another subject, I just have to mention something.

It's increasing difficult to find any sci-fi fans who generally want to put input on a game even if it's contribution. So, it's amazingly difficult.

I'm not trying to discourage you. But a licensing agreement with them will probably cost you money. You might be better off removing any references to Star Trek and marketing it as a completely original game, but there will be a lot of competition. Using Star Trek to give your game visibility is going to cost you.

I already agree with you on it.

I'm just a Star Trek and Star Wars fans and referring to bigger then Star Trek in scale gives a good reference frame. As for linkage to Star Trek.

If I just asking for help from fellow Star Trek fans then it's help. The game isn't even fully made yet or even partially enougth to be considered a game but a hobby project. I have seven civilizations and races. One is Federation which can easily be Terran and the other Vulcan that can be a equally science and math, and engineering race.

It can always change it. I have two ships that I made for fun that can have U.S.S. but that is a general navy/military term.

If I'm already debating legality when even no races then 5 out 7 have been thought of that does not refer to Star Trek. Then someone decided already I am making a Star Trek game without asking questions nor want to give input.

I have played. Star Trek Online, Eve Online, and watched Spaced Engineers and Emphryon Survival although I can't play the latter two. I like aspects of playing or viewing each game and dislike some aspect. My ideas are based on various gameplay and watching various games played.

I rather spend huge debates of game legality and copyrights but just talking and interacting with others creating a game(which in the links has some premise).

You mentioned revenue sharing in your very first post, so that's where the legal discussions come from, since you intended to get that revenue from somewhere.
