Help! Need a deflector dish

Hey fellas,
Broke the deflector dish on my MR Enterprise (DUH)

Wanted a replacement so I found this guy...

Apparently he is quite busy with requests, I assume it is due to the release of the 1/350 scale Enterprise model. I have been emailing him for 2 months now without a response.

Is anyone aware of another resource?
I even thought of getting a 1/350 scale Enterprise model for the replacement but then I would still be short one deflector

Any suggestions?

Best case scenario, you could strike up an acquaintence with some guy who has a workbench full of parts and would give you one.

Second best, they'd tell how to buy or even make one yourself. There are a lot of master craftsmen there.

You could also just get some plastic tubing/cylinder and splice it in....

If you want to paint it yourself you could always grab the parts list for the 1/350 Enterprise from Round 2 and ask for "replacement parts". I wouldn't consider this underhanded because you'd be paying for them without the UPC.
