Help Mr. Kyle acheive one last honor...

I wonder if the page is real or just a page someone made up so they can get a lot of likes. I remember similar pages were created just for the very same reason back when Facebook was coming around.

He appears in 11 episodes--10 times speaking (his lines were cut from Space Seed).

That's more than all but 8 of the main cast and more than Rand.

I know I'm slowly losing my faculties since the stroke over 10 years ago (and it's 7am with less than hour's sleep), but I'm having trouble understanding who you're referring to with 'main cast'. Kirk, Spock, McCoy, Scott, Sulu, Uhura, Chekov, Chapel, and Rand are who I generously consider the main players, and that's 9. So if he got more lines than 1 of those 9, and mentioning Rand separately means you're not counting her in those 9, who am I missing?

You're not missing anybody.
I consider the 8 you mentioned as the main cast.

So besides the "regulars" he had more episodes than any other character--including Rand, who I guess is a season 1 regular.

Rand counts as much as Yar on TNG I'd think, since they both did about 13 weeks.

No, Yar was in 23 of 26 first season episodes.

Rand appeared in 8 episodes and her lines were completely cut from 1 of those.

So 3 times as many appearances.
