Help me decide which way to view Voyager!

Hi all, sorry for the mostly-meaningless thread but I'm having a heck of a time with this franchise rewatch I'm currently engaged in.

You see, I'm on TNG Season 4 and when I reach just past 'Chain of Command' in Season 6 I'm going to start alternating between TNG and DS9 for the rest of the former's run, like how it worked back when they were on the air.

I'm having a difficult time deciding whether or not to take that approach all the way and do the same with Voyager once I hit DS9 Season 3, too, though. Do you think that's a good idea, or should I just hold off on Voyager until I'm done with DS9? Thanks in advance. I don't know why this is so hard for me to decide, I really don't...

While there is some overlap with TNG in the early days of DS9, there is practically none with DS9 and Voyager. Except for B'Elanna's reaction to the demise of the Maquis, I can't think of a further instance where the series feed off each other. (Zimmerman's appearance in "Dr. Bashir I Presume" and the brief appearance of Tuvok in the Mirror Universe make no mention of Voyager events at all.) B&B and Behr bacially were seperately running their own shows with their own objectives by Voyager's third season. So while it won't hurt to view DS9 and VOY in Stardate order, it really won't make much difference to view Voyager seperately.

I intend to rewatch the two like this one day:

DS9 until Voyager starts
Voyager until Hunters
DS9 until that same point (thinking about the crew of Voyager catching up on the news)
Then just go by stardate. Or I guess one could take the time to figure out when the Voyager crew talked with people in the AQ and mix DS9 in that way.

Of course, I don't think you can really make a wrong choice about viewing order.

Personally I think the best way to view Voyager is on a comfy couch with a dog or two and a beverage of choice. Actually, this works well for nuBSG, Lost and just about anything else too. Funny thing that...

You forgot the hot buttered popcorn, and the napkin to wipe your fingers before grabbing the remote control to rewind that massage scene. Again. Again. Again.
